We want to hear from you.
The Talking Cure is an inventive, interactive exhibition that encourages storytelling and ignites conversation and artistic response.
We welcome your engagement and your ideas for how you or your community group can become a part of The Talking Cure project.
The Talking Cure is an interactive work of personal storytelling in which the community becomes active participants, not just members of a passive audience. The exhibition was designed to foster community engagement and involvement. We need your creativity, your engagement, and your ideas for how you or your community group can collaborate with The Talking Cure.
In every city in which it has exhibited. The Talking Cure has taken on a new and different life depending upon the community’s response. Because of our similar missions and the creative bounty of the Grand District, this will be an ideal location to realize its next artistic phase.
Melissa Stern’s intention has always been to activate the exhibit’s potential as fully as possible, intriguing viewers with her provocative work. The Kranzberg Art Foundation would like as many artists and civic organizations to interact with this exhibit as possible. We seek engagement from the multitude of artistic forms that define our community.
But we don’t want to limit the interaction with the work to just artists. We welcome everyone in the community interested in participating to join in the response. We invite participation from all the institutions, media organizations and universities in the area. It is the unique cultural richness of this community and the opportunity to have meaningful conversations with people from a wide variety of life experiences that drove us to select this exhibition.
We are interested in the response of all audiences in keeping with our mission to serve our community and to listen to all voices. Please join us in this exciting and purposeful collaboration. Please contact us with your ideas and inspirations. We look forward to your unique and invaluable contribution.
